  13. File Finder is a file-find program for Windows 3.x. It will search for all
  14. files that match the search pattern you enter. It can search all drives, and
  15. can search the most popular archive types. (ARC, ARJ, ZIP, ZOO, LBR, LZH, PAK,
  16. PKA.) The list of files can be printed or copied to the clipboard.  It has many
  17. other useful features, including printing and copying file lists to other
  18. applications.  Search for files using a standard DOS search string, a
  19. substring, or a "regular expression."  Search for files based on date, time, or
  20. size.  Launch applications based on filetype.

  22. This is Shareware software.  If you try this package and decide you like
  23. it, then please support shareware and pay the requested registration fee.

  25. may not sell this software, or charge more than what it costs for you to
  26. copy it.  Disk vendors may distribute this software, charging their usual

  30. the registration form from the File Finder About dialog.  International

  33. be registered through Compuserve's shareware registration service, SWREG #1886.

  36. upgrades for minor versions, and low-cost upgrades on major versions. Please

  47. Installation from a distribution diskette or CD:
  48.     Run SETUP, and follow the prompts.

  50. Installation from a ZIP file:
  51.     - Unzip the file in a directory named WFIND. (You may use another name.)
  52.     - Copy the file CTL3DV2.DLL to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory, if it does
  53.       not already reside there.
  54.     - Delete the file CTL3DV2.DLL from the WFIND directory.
  55.     - Use File New in program manager to add an icon to one of your groups.
